Born in Saint Paul, MN. Melodie Yang familiy came to the United States for freedom. Melodie's ancestor are part of an ethnic group known as the Hmong (miao) people.Hmong people have been persecuted for centuries and now Melodie Yang, a daughter of a hmong family is thriving in the world of the United States of America.

Melodie Yang is now a sophomore at Drake Univeristy. Melodie Yang is double majoring in Marketing and Magazine/Brand Media. Melodie hopes to be in the gaming industry and pursue a career in the marketing world.
